jogo online e so batalha mesmo, vc escolhe suas tropas e cai pr opau, e tem campanha que( nessa expansao) da para jogar com mais 2 jogadores. necessario o medieval II original.
modo offline( 1 ou mais jogadores) o medieval II se divide em uma campanha que se baseia em conquistar 50 provincias e jerusalem( no caso so sacro-imperio romano o objetivo e Roma), sua expansao se baseia em campanhas "pequenas", são area menores do mapa real, porém ampliadas( america central e parte do norte, jerusalem, england e teutonic campaign)

modo multiplayer
a gente joga via Lan usando hamachi( esse jogo nao da problemas de port), no modo online jogam ate 8 jogadores divididos e mate 8 times, o host divide dinheiro para cada, cenario, condições do tempo e etc, cada um escolhe sua civ e tropas com o dinheiro definido de inicio.
